Greater Public engagement was created with the delivery of research in our original and unexpected format. Museum and Gallery experiences of inert consumption are having to consider their displacement as repositories of elitist collections of imagery by models of interactive engagement. Responses to art are becoming increasingly collective. The individual reaction is produced or compounded by the reaction of the entire audience. Imagery is circulated and distributed to the community forum for shared experience. Works of art, before the invention of the camera, even when exhibited in galleries, rarely led to a shared mass response. New technologies including, the Internet, Photoshop, digital cameras, digital imaging technology have allowed the sharing of art and research surrounding it in ways not historically possible.
